Summer flowers (not sensitive to ethylene)
 

Introduction

Summer flowers as a group face water uptake problems caused by excessive bacterial growth due to insufficient hygiene in the water.

Bacteria reduce the water transport inside the stems and can even fully block the water uptake. Insufficient water uptake results in flaccid leaves and petals. Excessive bacterial growth can lead to slimy, smelly and unattractive stems. Clean water and the use of FLORISSANT 500 can effectively solve these problems.

Effects

FLORISSANT 500 contains slow release substances able to suppress bacteria effectively and increase water uptake. Consequently premature shrinking, bud abortion and incomplete flowering are avoided and vase-life is prolonged.

Dosage

Add 1 tablet FLORISSANT 500 per 3 liter water and stir gently. This solution can only be used once.

Note: Always use clean buckets and clean tap water. Never mix an old solution with a fresh one.

Treatment

Use correct dosage. Place the flowers in the solution immediately after cutting or processing. No minimum treatment time required. FLORISSANT 500 does not contain flower food, therefore keep treatment limited to a few days only.

Note: Ethylene sensitive summer flowers should be treated with FLORISSANT 100 first. See our special instruction leaflet “Summer flowers (ethylene sensitive)”.

Packing

FLORISSANT 500 is available in 1.000 tablets containers; 12 containers per carton.

Precautions

FLORISSANT 500 should be stored dry in closed container. Avoid contacts from eyes and skin with the concentrated product.

FLORISSANT 500 is manufactured with the greatest care and is kept under constant laboratory surveillance. The manufacturer cannot be held liable if the product is applied incorrectly.
